I phoned to add coverage after making my final payment. It took several days for the confirmation of this change to arrive. This made me uncomfortable.

However, it is not unusual for some changes to take up to 3 days to process especially if the request comes in on a weekend.

I wish I'd have been able to save the costs of this plan for better uses, because I didn't end up needing it. BUT the peace of mind I had while internationally traveling made this priceless, so I guess it's worth it, in the end!
