We had a trip planned to New Orleans just before a hurricane hit! It was such a comfort knowing we weren't going to be out all the money we paid for our lodging if it caused too much damage.

Fortunately we did not have to file a claim so I cannot comment on that aspect of the plan. However the price was reasonable and the plan fit our needs.

I’m happy we didn’t have to submit a claim, however, if a claim had to be submitted, I feel like it would be no problem. I liked the idea of them emailing me a week before stating all the information that I would need if a claim was to be submitted. I would definitely use their service again.

delay, delay, and more delay. Every time they asked for more info which could have been requested initially. Each time they promised to answer within 10 days. they took exactly 10 days and then asked for more info. Calls to specific person who responded were not returned even though I left 8 messages over 8 days.

It appears that you originally submitted your claim back on 01/06/2019 and, as you state, there was a lot of back and forth going on between you and the Crum and Forster Travel Insured claims department.
Usually the company is able to settle claims within 30 days. However, there is an occasional delay in the process.
