Had to make a claim because of catching covid and quarantine requirements in the country I was staying. The claims process was easy and the agent I spoke to on the phone was very kind and helpful.
It did take a couple months for my claim to be processed and paid due to being unusually busy. This did not bother me and I was told that usually they try to process claims within 30 days and hope to be back to that target by January 2023.

Processing my claim took some time (it sat in the mailroom for several days) and it was difficult to get an update on the status. My emails usually took 2 days to be answered and the response was sketchy on detailed information. Overall I was very pleased since my claim was approved as filed and I did not have to submit additional information.

This was the second time we used Travel Insured International. The first time, we did file a claim which was promptly handled to our satisfaction. The second time (April 2019) we did not file a claim.

My husband had the misfortune to become very ill while we were traveling on a trans-Atlantic cruise. After a very thourough visit to the Ships Doctor, he was diagnosed with bronchitis. He required lung X-rays, blood work, antibiotics, and breathing treatments. When we returned to the States, we called about how to submit a claim. It couldn’t have been easier. They emailed us the claim forms and we mailed them back along with the doctors detailed diagnosis and treatments given, and the itemized credit card receipt. We received a full refund within 10 days. We were both amazed and thrilled with the service we received!
