It was a good cost if it covered. We were in a storm on a cruise without internet coverage to contact the hotel to cancel reservation.
Received an email that it would not be covered because we didn’t cancel.

I purchased insurance with this company and a few months later i had to cancel my trip due to a new job. I turned in all my documents and had copies to find out 3 months later that they claim they didn’t receive! I resent the documents to wait 2 more months to be told that I was eligible for a refund! Then to top it off you will only talk to a foreigner… NO Americans!! The representative that I spoke to was also rude!! I wouldn’t recommend buying insurance from this company because they will NOT give you your money back!!

I filled a claim for reimbursement due to a flight cancellation. It took over a month to get a response back from WolrdTrips, and they denied the claim, indicating lack of cancelation reason from the carrier.

All insurance plans that go through CBP for claim processing are terrible. They take forever to process claims and its very difficult to follow up on. CBP is a bottleneck.

This plan was inexpensive and easy to set up. My husband severely fractured his wrist in Mexico, and it has cost us almost $30,000 in surgeries ($24000 in Mexico and $5000 since returning). HCC has already paid all of the expenses that were not covered by our primary insurance since returning, and has promised to pay anything that our primary insurance does not pay from Mexico (if/when they decide). Jennifer, our case manager, has been fantastic.

I had a health issue, for which I was promptly assigned a case manager who provided support in getting the documentation required for the pre-authorisation of a medical procedure I needed and then for submitting a claim. They took almost 2 months in refunding me, but eventually they refunded me in full, so I'm a happy customer.
