Although I've purchased this insurance several times before, this is the first time I've needed to collect on it. I am very pleased to say my claim was processed promptly, and without question. I submitted all the necessary paperwork, and was reimbursed for the full amount. I will definitely buy this insurance for my next trip.

I always buy travel insurance but first time actually filing a claim. Reps on the phone were really hepful and patient as I explained my situation and clearly answered questions about coverage, what claims I needed to file, etc. Due to family member's sickness, one person was unable to travel at all, and I had to delay my trip and join family a few days later, so I ended up filing both interruption and cancellation claims. Online claims process was pretty straightforward. Took me a litle while to gather all the paperwork but what they asked for made sense (e.g. MD note, proof of purchase, cancellation policy, etc.) It took about a month to process my claims and they were both approved straight away, with $ deposited immediately to my accout via Zelle. After reading about horror stories of people struggling with their claims, I'm happy to report that it was a quick and easy experience for us.

I had an unexpected injury in the back country of Baja California. After getting to a place with a telephone, I was able to reach the 800 number and got assistance and authorization for an evacuation. The plan paid off my evacuation-related costs (including airline change fees) and also paid for the unused portion of my trip. they made me file a request with my health insurer, Kaiser, to get back the hospital charge, which was negligible, since this was Mexico.
I am very grateful I had insurance and the service was excellent. I will buy again from this company.

We filed three claims - Trip Interruption, Trip Delay, and Medical. The paperwork was somewhat intense! My first package was 22 pages long. Be prepared to PROVE: 1) Who you are (Drivers License/passport) 2) Proof of payment (Not JUST invoices) like canceled checks or Credit Card Statements. 3) Carrier Invoices 4) Documentation from Carrier showing date of delay and reason for delay (Airline Customer service has form letter they send).
Once the paperwork is assembled and received in Claims everything went very well. We spoke to our adjuster and corresponded with her on a couple of questions. We are very pleased with that.
We completed the entire process and was paid via check on all 3 claims inside of 60 days total.
Note that Trip Interruption has a limit of $200 per day per person, If you are in a hotel for multiple days your claim needs to split that up into a per day cost. We actually had two hotel days but our receipt didn't detail that so it looked like one day which pushed us over the limit that one day. I would insure with this company again!

We received great phone support during our trip when determining if we could get a refund due to weather delay and our claim was processed very quickly. We received a full refund for our cancelled trip within 3 weeks. While it was awful to miss our trip, CSA made our decision to come home a lot less painful on our wallet.

CSA Travel Protection was perfect for us. It had a wide range of coverage and when we had a small medical emergency they were both knowledgeable and efficient. They even handled and approved my claim within 24 hours. 10/10 is my rating!

My claim was denied because the doctor I saw was not considered a doctor according to them. Even though the dr I saw is licensed in my state.

CSA originally denied part of our trip interruption claim. A phone call did not help, but a follow-up e-mail explaining the situation in more depth caused CSA to pay the entire claim. It took a little persistence, but CSA ended up by doing the right thing by reconsidering their original decision.
