Over all plan was wonderful. I was a little confused with who to contact with questions. The travel nurse herself was wonderful but the coordination between leaving the hospital and the trip home was a nightmare including me staying unaccompanied at a hotel for over 24 hours when her flight to me was delayed with no notification until I called hours after she was to arrive.

Communication was lacking between myself and the claim adjuster. That is why the claim was not processed promptly and within a reasonable timely manner. The claim was done fairly for reimbursement. I would not hesitate to continue purchasing this coverage for our yearly trips even though this claim went sideways.

We incurred costs for hotel, taxis and food due to missing our connecting flight in Miami. So even though American Airlines was horrible to us, Nationwide was great. They processed our travel claim quickly and painlessly. I will definitely use them again!

Would have preferred more communication as to status of claim (when received, processing, etc.), but claim was paid as requested in a normal amount of time.

I was impressed with the quick response time, and that most of the costs were covered for my 3 day delay.
