We had some medical issues in SE Asia - pneumonia in January, dengue fever - you know, that kind of thing. Global accepted the claims online, which was much easier than my regular medical insurance company. Once I received the EOB (explanation of benefits) from my medical insurance, then Global paid the remainder (minus the deductible) quite quickly. Thank you!!!!

Will definitely recommend this plan and also InsureMyTrip. Very easy to navigate the website, lots of options of plans and good descriptions of same. Thankfully we did not need to make a claim but the peace of mind knowing that we had the coverage we needed was well worth the small cost.

Secondary coverage will pay you after any other Primary insurance has paid the claim and the Primary policies' limits have been exhausted. This means that a Secondary policy may pay for any of the following, after you have filed your claim with your Primary Insurer: your full medical bill, a portion of your medical bill that was not covered by your Primary insurance policy, and/or any deductibles that your Primary insurance company may require you to pay. With this policy, you are typically not required to have a Primary coverage. If you do not maintain a Primary insurance policy, you would be able to file through a Secondary insurance plan directly.
