This company was very prompt in handling our claim and always kept us up to date on the status. We are very satisfied with Generali and would recommend them without hesitation.

I had to cancel my trip because my mom (who was not going on the trip) had a stroke before the trip commenced and required my care extending into the time of the trip and beyond. It was a very expensive trip so I was very relieved when Generali approved my trip cancellation claim. This has been a very stressful time and it certainly helped to have this claim to through. My only criticism is that I found their online claims processing tool very difficult to use and ended up filing a paper claim instead. Overall, a very good result though and I'd recommend this company.

Sadly, I had to cancel my trip due to an illness. When I contacted Generali, the representative explained the process which was just how things proceeded. They sent a check for a full refund in a very timely manner.

I had a VERY large kidney stone the week we were scheduled to leave and we had to cancel our trip. I filed a claim for everything that I could not cancel. They paid all of the claim and within a few weeks. I will use them again.

Our first and second flights from Atlanta to South Africa were returned to Atlanta due to mechanical difficulties with the plane. We had to cancel all our travel plans in South Africa. CSA reimbursed us for everything that we had to cancel in South Africa. (The airline covered the cost of the flights.) We will certainly use CSA in the future and recommend that everyone use travel insurance.
