My claim was due to illness. My companion could not travel. I provided a letter from her doctor. Due to confidentially (HIPPA) I could not request a doctor to complete a separate form. I was only asking for a small portion of my travel ticket to be return. Your customer service agent would never refer me to a supervisor and every case cannot be settle via a form. Via face book and every person i speak with will no about your stealing insurance money not providing restitution.

Price of coverage was the best compared to others. Insure My Trip helped to recognize best price and coverage. Travel insurance is very expensive at best, so we needed to get lowest price for best coverage. Luckily, we did not need to file claim.

Thankfully, we did not need to use the insurance but the agents on the phone were very helpful when choosing a plan. I also called back to add excursions and it was a very easy process.

I would absolutely tell every person I know to avoid this company. It is a complete and total rip off. Cancel for any reason is complete BS.

The Trip Cancellation for Any Reason benefit requires that the trip be canceled 48 hours prior to the schedule departure date. I purchased this policy at the last minute after neither I nor InsureMyTrip could get a response from the vendor of an initial policy for over two weeks, that had to be modified due to coronavirus concerns. I ended up buying this backup emergency evacuation plan on March 6, the date of our revised itinerary/departure because "it was too late to duplicate the original plan." InsureMyTrip and Tokio Marine provided reassurance for a major catastrophic event, which I appreciated under the circumstances.
