Happy not to have a claim but I did have to file one a few years back, which went smoothly. It is really important to open the tabs and read more about the coverages-especially what is never covered when lost. I always use the 800 number and talk to a person- the agents are really knowledgeable about the products. They help make informed plan choices based on your trip (and don't just point you to the most expensive one). Remember to buy it soon after you arrange your trip to get the coverage, if you can, for pre-existing conditions.

It's hard to review something I had no reason to use, but nevertheless I was glad to have the coverage, just in case... So many things can go wrong or sideways when traveling. And the price was reasonable.

The policy was easy to purchase on line, easy to understand, and cost effective. The real test is response to claims; fortunately, we did not have any claims and so cannot report on this.
