Travel Insurance Reviews for Crum & Forster - Travel Insured International

My son had a tooth abscess which required root cancel treatment. The 'dental' coverage did not cover this. The customer service representatives were extremely slow in handing my claim. I would not recommend.

The airline mislaid my suitcase for 50 hrs.

I will not hesitate to use them again.

I became sick prior to our trip. we had to cancel our trip. We filed with the insurance and the process went smoothly.

Everyone I dealt with at C&F Travel Insurance was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. When our trip had an interruption which lead to out of pocket expenses, a quick phone call to them let us enjoy the rest of our trip knowing that we would be covered for the extra expense when we returned.

C&F were very helpful in filling a claim. I would use them again to insure our future trips.

This was expensive insurance, but it was a high cost trip as it was for a month and in the UK. I was injured prior to the trip and unable to travel. There was A LOT of paper work and I would advise you to be sure to keep excellent record keeping in case you have to file a claim. You will also have to wait if you are renting an accommodation like I was, to see if they can re-rent it before you file your claim to determine if you have any credit. Similarly if you have airline tickets and cancel you may only get taxes paid back so you will need documentation of all of that before filing a claim! Just an FYI.
Everyone I spoke to from the start in customer service about filing the claim was very personable and helpful. Once submitted it did take about a week longer than it stated based on the fact that they were " backed up" however once processed I received the full refund within 48hrs of notification. If I hadn't taken out the insurance I would have lost a lot of money so I would highly recommend buying a comprehensive insurance such as this from C & F Travel Insured International , especially if your trip is oversees.

I travel internationally a lot, with family abroad. I started using Insure My Trip years ago, and never had to deal with a claim until now.
When I bought the plan, the customer care guy couldn't have been more helpful with finding me the right plan. And Travel Insured International had the right plan! I will most definitely use them again. They have really helped with a bit of a miserable travel experience.

The one item damaged on the trip was not covered under personal effects, so I'm not that satisfied

We were not able to take our trip because a couple of weeks before our trip my husband fell and had to have hip surgery. He has been in a wheel chair for 3 months. I contacted the travel agency and insurance company. I filled out all the paperwork and was awarded my check for the full coverage in a couple of weeks. I am so thankful that we purchased the insurance for our trip, even more that the company covered all the expenses of our trip. Thank you to Travel Insured.
