Got advise to use this site and really happy I took it. I had to call to get help cause it was my first travel overseas and I was giving 4 option I could choose according to my needs. All process took the most 5 minutes. Great customer service !!

I did not need to use the plan but was glad to have it. My main concern was getting back home if I was injured or otherwise delayed while away, and I thought TravelSafe had the best plan of the ones that I looked at. Unfortunately TravelSafe will only evacuate you if the hospital at your travel destination cannot care for your needs - so I had to sign up for an additional plan that would evacuate me even if the local hospital was able to care for me. It would be nice if TravelSafe would add that evacuation option.

Thank you for your review. You bring up a great point about emergency medical evacuation coverage. Typically, when medically necessary, most insurance providers will take you to the closest hospital that can treat you and then to a hospital in your home city. I checked several websites and InsureMyTrip offered me the coverage I needed at the lowest cost. Also this website was rated as reliable, as compared to another website I was interested in. Make sure the website you use is rated as reliable before going with them!

Cancel For Any Reason reimburses between 50% - 75% of the pre-paid and nonrefundable trip cost insured if:
1) the policy is purchased with the benefit included within 10-30 days after making the initial trip payment (time frame depends upon specific policy)
2) the full cost of all non-refundable prepaid travel arrangements in insured on the policy
3) the trip is cancelled at-least 2 days prior to the Scheduled Departure Date.
