The claim process is very cumbersome. There was information that I was asked to provide and I provided what I had and I kept getting the same email asking for the information I already provided. I was asked for information that I did not have as well, such as doctor notes. None was taken by the doctor and I can’t believe for a $101 reimbursement for a $3K policy I paid for, that request is a deal breaker. I suggested a phone call to talk through what I have since emailing was not getting across but I got nowhere with that. I’m very disgusted with how this process is not conducive to provide any level of competent service. I will not use services from this company again nor recommend.

My luggage was stolen off of a Flixbus in Vigo Spain. Flixbus was absolutely zero help. Nationwide Mutual was easy to navigate, they asked me a few questions about what was in the bag and I was reimbursed quickly. Highly recommend.

Too many claim officers work on one claim and the right information is not downloaded in their case file. The claim takes too long to process for a refund.

I sent in all required forms and received a letter back wanting information I didn't understand. They wanted proof I paid for the services, but on a cruise ship all payments are put on my credit card they have on file. I havent' received the Am Ex bill as yet. So I give up and lose my money. Will never use you or you or your affiliates, A waste of money and of course they make it difficult so you give up. I am a long time user of your company (check my name) So I lost a few hundred dollars and you all lost a customer. Thank you for your time.

When I got sick and tried to get an appointment there were no doctors available or when I did make an appointment it was cancelled. Total waste of my time and delayed the time before I saw a doctor. Gave up on your stupid automated system and went to an Urgent Care at a hospital. I would never recommend Nationwide to anyone.

We had to cancel our trip due to our son being diagnosed with a deadly disease. The Nationwide claims representative worked with us and our claim was paid promptly.

The only thing we wanted to claim was some personal items that we had to purchase to replace things that were delayed. Because we were unaware of the requirement to keep every scrap of paperwork, we were unable to complete the claim
