Travel Insurance Reviews for Generali Global Assistance

Quick turnaround from date I submitted a claim till the claim was completed. My ER visit during my vacation was covered and refunded. Thanks for quick service!

Our travel was interrupted due to wildfires. I filed a claim on Generali's website, and the full amount of the claim was paid within a week.

I have taken out Generali policies several times for our trips. I have only submitted claims twice. The first time I had two claims that were both paid. Most recently I again had two claims. one was paid and the other was denied. While the denial followed the contract guidelines, I was disappointed as the cruise ship recommended I file the claim after they refused to reimburse me for a missed excursion.

I was surprised how quickly I received payment after filing a claim; which was met in full.

Unfortunately, I had to cancel the trip. My claim was processed in a timely manner. I got excellent support from Generali's the agent for filing my claim. I do recommend Generali travel insurance.

We have always purchased insurance for our cruises but thankfully have never had to file a claim. We usually purchase a plan through Insure My Trip but do not always choose the same company. This was the first time we have ever had to file a claim and although it was just for a change fee for the airlines and a co-pay for a prescription, it was promptly handled by CSA and we received all funds that we requested. I can recommend this plan based upon this experience.

This is the 5th time I've bought travel insurance w/CSA since 2012. One time I had a bad fall, another I got sick in India. Both claims were handled quickly andpaid in full, and the claims process was straightforward. I've recommended CSA to friends before and will definitely continue to recommend them. I even set one friend straight who thought travel insurance was a scam! I've bought travel insurance w/other companies and only ever filed a claim w/CSA, but I'm sticking w/just CSA going fwd. They're the best!

Unfortunately, I had to cancel the trip for medical reasons but your response and refund were handled in a very timely manner. I will use CSA again later this year for our Feb/Mar trip.

The claims process was a little complicated given the number of documents required. However, my claim was settled with no dispute. In fact, they even asked if I was missing costs I could have claimed! Overall, a very satisfactory outcome. I will definitely use CSA again.

Although it was a pain to have to file for my health insurance first, after I received payment and documentation and sent it to CSA, they sent the remaining amount quickly.
