DON'T BUY THEIR POLICY!! This is the worst experience we've ever had filing claim. They never reply. You called them, they will have you to call back in 7 to 10 days, again and again.... They successfully wore us out, eventually. We gave up.

I had a bad bout of osteoarthritis while I was staying in Madrid. I went to a hospital with a clinic specializing in international coverage. The insurer refused to guarantee payment for medical tests in connection this non-pre-existing condition, so I was unable to get an accurate diagnosis. I have purchased travel insurance elsewhere, and do not recommend this carrier.

I do a lot of cycle touring. I had a bad accident in Mallorca Spain in 2006, The accident was due to being severly jet-lagged on the first day of the tour, and getting vertigo in a dark tunnel on the way to Cap Formentor. I was stuck in Mallorca for two weeks until friends on the tour could help me get back to the U.S. I have purchased evacuation insurance for each bike trip since that time. I returned to Mallorca for the first time this year, with no accidents, and I bested the tunnel! I have no way to evaluate the insurance purchased, as I have not needed to use it, put I hope it will be there if I need it. And it does provide a sense of security.

I wanted travel insurance for my trip to Spain. I wanted insurance that would transport me home if injured. I walked the Camino for many days and felt secure that I would have assistance if needed. This was my first time purchasing insurance and InsureMyTrip was great.

I did not use the plan while traveling in Spain, Morocco and Paris but I was at ease knowing I had it. Ive used travel insurance before for a Costa Rica visit to ER and they reimbursed everything. Id recommend having it.

Upon receiving your comments, we did assign an "Anytime Advocate" who was able to assist you with the claim. Unfortunately, the 244 USD medical bill was under the 250 USD deductible, so you did not receive any reimbursement.
As you indicated, "I understand we won't get any money back. Only wish they can handle it better. It's the worse experience we've ever had with any insurance company."
