We had a misconnection but the airline did not respond to any claims or attempts to book us on time. We claimed additional expenses and unrefundable cost. The Travel Insured site was easy to use to load evidence, the follow up questions were fast and easy to understand and the claim was approved and disbursed very quickly. I wouls recommend and will purchase again.

I had an accident, a fall in which I broke my wrist in 2 places. Once we contacted C&F they called me constantly to check on me. I had to leave our trip early and they arranged for transportation to and from the airport and on a day's notice booked us new airfare from Europe to the US. We did not pay for any of this. I highly recommend C&F.

We obtained the plan primarily for medical insurance for international travel, but was injured immediately before our trip and unable to travel. The claim filing process including uploading files is somewhat cumbersome and redundant, but our claim was processed quickly and fairly with no complaints. I can't ask for more than that.

My flight was cancelled and I had expenses related to the delay. I had my electronic boarding pass which stated that the flight was Cancelled, but C&F didn't think that was enough. They wanted a written statement from the airline as to WHY the flight was cancelled. It was the weather, but who cares? Why do they need a statement in writing from the airline when it was clear that I couldn't have forged my own electronic boarding pass? That added ten days to my reimbursement, which I did eventually receive.

Claim process is easy online but then they just delay and ask for information when everything has already been submitted. Refuse to put an analyst on the phone. Terrible customer service!!

Last year I was delayed 12 hours by delayed flight departure , My plan payed for a missed day at hotel & extra transportation. Very easy and quick reimbursement.
I bought for medical coverage and was pleased I had this extra coverage. Not expensive.
I used again recently, but didn’t need any reimbursement. Definitely recommend & will always use on my trips:)

I would not recommend them at all. I ended up having to contact them using social media several times to get them to pay attention to my claim. Even then it took months to get it approved and a check sent. They also didn't pay my misc. cost that happen after my flights were cancelled. I love insuremytrip and will continue to use them. I will not be buying from this specific insurance company again.

You actually got to speak to a representative when things did not go as planned!
Reps were understanding and explained things in clear English.
After I filed my claims, they called me to let me know that all had been approved and I would receive reimbursement within 1-2 weeks.
The whole experience took just about a month from them receiving my claim.
