C&F Travel Insured International FlexiPAX
Bought it, covering 5 adults ages 26-72. Not worried about trip costs, just about medical and possible evacuation costs for a vigorous 10 day hiking trip in the UK. No one had so much as a sniffle or bump on the knee, so never had to use the coverage.
This seemed the best price for what we wanted, but prices in the industry have gone up from prior trips.

WorldTrips Atlas Journey Preferred
We had to cancel our trip to England when my wife was required to stay for a work audit. Once I submitted the claim we promptly received our payment in about 2 and a half weeks. I couldn't be happier with the World Trips Atlas Journey Preferred plan and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Generali Global Assistance Preferred
Generali was wonderful. I fell and fractured my pelvis on the first day of my trip. They were quick to respond to my call for help and when I was released from the hospital they made all the arrangements to get me home. The arrangements were from the hospital to and through the airports and from my final airport to my home. I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to others. They even covered the expenses of my traveling companion to help see me home.

Although the coverage was very good and I felt good about that part, the claim process was majorly frustrating. Too much to go into here. Even though the claims department says they will contact you ( either email or phone) they never do. If you contact customer service by phone they cannot tell you anything about your claim, only general information and that is not always the same information even though you are asking the same question.
My suggestion is, if you have or think you have a claim open up one immediately for your full amount in question then collect back-up info within the required timeframe. And then send in.
Be sure to open an account with them, because it is the only way to track your claim. You will never and I mean NEVER be contacted by them!

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
We had to cancel our long-anticipated trip due my wife's poor health, so we filed a claim. Review of the claim took two full months, during which I received multiple requests for the same documents I had already sent, because the people processing these don't bother reading them carefully. Despite a clear record of when and why my wife received care for her condition, our medical claim was rejected. Fortunately we'd paid extra for "cancel for any reason" coverage, and that was applied, otherwise we would have lost everything. So the ONLY aspect of this insurance that's worth a penny is CFAR; the rest is a waste of money (and time).

I had to cancel my trip do to health reasons. I contacted the plan to find out what they needed to get my money back from the flight. they told me I had 30 days after the flight to apply for the ins. It turned out that Delta gave me ecredit on my flight that I have to book by Nov. When I called them again they said I could have extended the ins before the flight but I was too late to do it. I wish someone had advised me before it was to late to do it.

I would never travel without insurance because I am aware of how many things can go wrong on a trip. However, I am not happy about the price and I'm not happy about the limitations. For example, I was due to travel to Israel from Cyprus on October 9 last year. Because of the terrorist attack, I had to change all of my plans and incurred about a thousand dollars in expenses. When I sought reimbursement, I was told that trip interruptions caused by terrorist acts are only covered if they occur within 35 miles of an insured's location at the time. Always read the fine print. Insurance companies will limit their liability in anyway they can.

Certain eye conditions are excluded, but that list does not include Glaucoma. But they still refused for Glaucoma diagnosis and treatment.
