Since I didn't have to file a claim with the company it's hard to give it a real evaluation. I believe it covered what I needed and I'm always glad to have had insurance - just in case.

I had a heart attack in Costa Rica in May this year. While in the ER in San Jose CR I called the insurance company. I was interrogated instead of helping me while in pain ready to be operated on. I gave them Doctors info and Hospital info. I did not get the surgery they stabilized me to return back tothe USA. 4DAYS in tha CR Hospital. Bills added up I get home and no body called me I called them. Sent all pertinent information Then they Denied my claim. Reason Pre existing conditions.
I will never use a company that isn't in the USA. Also I am telling all my surfing groups that I travel with to NEVER USE YOUR COMPANY

I was looking for an all inclusive plan that will get me and my children quickly and safely through the borders of Costa Rica. Instead, I had to "VERIFY" my "FOREIGN" insurance by taking a bus to the adjacent terminal, waiting in line (twice), and then walk back with my 2 and 4 year old kids to get through. This is not acceptable and have to be shared with travelers in advance, at least so that we have some idea and can plan to stay in line for sometime or go with another insurance that will. be considered local.

I was pulled out of line at custom due to a purple scan from you insurance documents....I had to go to a secondary line wear an officer actually read your plan page by page looking for the information needed to enter ....I then scanned green

It's actually impossible to write a review with questions like these when I had no issues so didn't have to deal with trip insurance coverage. That would then be a more realistic review. However, I appreciated the simple process, the low cost. However, I think it would have been better to also include coverage for specific belongings and for me to have been able to say, this is how much my belongings are worth.

have used insure my trip for several trips securing medical coverage and extraction . good insurance coverage and effective
Although we have not needed to use their services we've had family members who got stranded for a weekend, obviously unexpected medical events) and died in hospitals overseas and we know to get this coverage.
