All the reviews I've read about the product were good to excellent - although each was qualified by the fact that a claim wasn't made. I did make a valid claim and experienced misinterpretation and denial. My claim arose because of a skipped port of call which found me in Southampton rather than Le Havre. AIG's original position was that because the delay was weather related, and my claim was for reimbursement of costs incurred within 24 hours of the delay, no payment would be made. I finally prevailed in getting the adjuster to accept my position that I was covered under Trip Interruption Benefits paragraph (b) - I won the battle but not without a good deal of back and forth. So I'd have to say that the plan works well if you don't have to make a claim but not so well if you do make a claim - Buyer beware"
