I called and talked to a representative about the coverage to see if it covered stolen items from our room. The items stolen were not covered. So, I was a little disappointed.

Our family has used InsureMyTrip several times and have always been satisfied. In this case, my daughter was traveling overseas. Having trip insurance took some of the worry away. I also appreciated being able to purchase the insurance at any time before the trip.

Most travel insurance policies exclude a similar list of items under the baggage benefit. However, a few companies that we represent cover electronic equipment, or have business equipment and/or sports equipment riders that can be added onto the policy for an additional premium. In the future, please consider calling us prior to purchasing a plan. We would be happy to guide you towards a plan that covers your specific concerns.
