Great alternative to cruise line associated insurance. Didn't have to file a claim this time, but have in past with Travelex and had no problems getting paid, unlike a claim with AON going on 9 months since date of loss.

We did not have to file a claim (thank goodness), but this insurance had everything we needed... cancel for any reason and medical coverage in a foreign country. The price very reasonable - much less than the ins offered through the cruise line. The comparison option on the website is user friendly and the chat feature is great. I had all my questions answered before I selected coverage. I also liked that I have until the day before I made my final payment, to purchase the insurance (for cruises only) - gave me plenty of time to research coverage that fit our needs. Thank you!

I didn't end up using the plan so for me it was the price that is the only thing I can comment on. I was most interested in the medical coverage in case of injury overseas and this plan seemed to be good.

This is the first time I have had to use my insurance, so I was a little worried if I had the right documents and if the claim would be accepted. My flight was cancelled and rescheduled. I submitted a hotel receipt for the night and it was approved in less than 2 weeks. I am very pleased with the process. Travelex/Berkshire Hathaway had a form to fill out, along with my receipts, and all could be submitted by email. I contacted customer service to begin the claim and spoke with a knowledgeable rep.

We did not have to use it but it is good to know you have a plan in place. Remember to carry a copy of the plan with you in your travels so you have all the information you should the need arise.
