Travel Insurance Reviews for Global Underwriters

Hard to rate the plan because I didn't have to use it, but the terms were what I was looking for, the price was fair/good, and when I had a concern after purchasing the policy and communicated with Global Underwriters, I got an immediate -- and satisfactory -- answer to my question, which is always a good sign.

This put me at ease for my one month stay in Spain. The price was right and much better than other offers.

I'm thrilled I didn't have to use my insurance plan while traveling. Having travel insurance gives me an incredible peace of mind.

I had a bicycle injury the 2 nd Sunday of the trip and now I wish I had used the insurance to get back home right after the injury. I was out of commission for 5 days and have extreme swelling and pain since. Just didn’t want to miss all the trip. Thx for being there anyway.

Thankfully, we did not need to file a claim as nothing happened. But that plan was very reasonable and had great coverage.

I did not have to file a claim (thank goodness) so I don't know exactly how Global Underwriters Diplomat would handle my claim but the purchase itself and my contacts with InsureMyTrip were excellent.

It is very hard to review an insurance provider if one has never used their services. I paid for 5 weeks of coverage for my daughter going to Spain, and she never needed to use the insurance, so I cannot vouch for the service. I am glad I purchased it.

We never needed to use the plan but we were glad we purchased it just in case.
