Directions for documents needed for claim ( trip cancellation) were not clear but when I contacted them it was clear what was needed. I am very satisfied with April and would use them again.

Of course, one purchases travel insurance and hopes never to have to use it. This year, we had to cancel our trip due to a medical issue. We were so upset to have to cancel, but were glad that April Travel came through for us! The claim was processed within the time frame indicated and the staff we interacted with by phone and email were kind and professional. We would wholeheartedly recommend April Travel!

This was the first time I've used April Travel Protection and we had to file a claim and change the entire trip 8 days prior to departure due to continued terriost attacks in London. It took a few emails and forwarding of numerous documents but within 60 days the claim was processed and I was sent a check for the purchase of my original trip as well as the cancellation charges. I was unable to make this trip because I had to have surgery. Fortunately I had not put out very much money. In fact the amount of money I put out was just a few dollars more then what my premium for the insurance was.
