We had to cancel our trip last minute due to early birth of grandson. This company was easy and appropriate to work with. Customer service communication and representatives were very clear and reachable. We received reimbursement in a timely manner for costs incurred. I cannot rate them highly enough and would definitely use their coverage again for any future travel plans.

My claim was initiated 2 and 1/2 months ago. Other than a request for documents, I have heard nothing. You cannot get through to them on the phone, and all you get is a chat bot who provides no response except to direct you to a web page which merely confirms that the documents were submitted. They blame Covid for the poor customer service. Covid is not an excuse for bad customer service. My trip was cancelled by the airlines and I made a claim for nonrefundable costs as per the policy. I would be very hesitant to use them because, if I were stuck on a trip with an actual emergency, how would I get through for help?

I have used C&F several times before and really like them. I did not have to file a claim this time around, BUT did file for another trip (which I did not review). I wanted to review them because they have been working with me on that claim from a previous trip and they have been great. It was my fault btw that we're still dealing with it, since I submitted very late. The claim is not finalized yet and that's the reason for the 4, but so far I'm pleased with the progress. I find Customer Service really responsive and they usually have the coverage I want for that specific trip at a reasonable cost.

The quality of insurance is not what it SAYS are the benefits but what it DOES when you need the benefits. Previously, I'd rated this insurance as really good based on a fair price and answering my questions when I called. However, this time my luggage was lost by the airline on the way back home. Despite having a lost luggage policy, C&F indicated that they would only pay out after I had settled my claim with the airline and only if the airline didn't fully cover the cost of the lost items. Meanwhile, the airline wouldn't begin to settle my claim until the luggage had been missing for 21 days. When I inquired with C&F about coverage for delayed luggage--until my luggage was recovered or declared lost--I was informed that this was not applicable for luggage lost on the way home. They were unsympathetic to the fact that most of my winter clothes and shoes were in the lost luggage (as it was a two-week trip). According to the fine print, one had to request a claims form via USPS, which took over two weeks to arrive. When I called after not receiving it, I was told I could download it online via a website, but it turned out one needed a log-in code (which I didn't have) to access the document. In general, I felt the company was doing everything possible to discourage me from filing a claim.
As my luggage was ultimately found (shortly after being declared officially lost) and returned to me after 30 days, I never needed to file the claim with C&F. But it has left a bad taste in my mouth,and I don't intend to use C&F again, even if they are the less-expensive option.

My connecting flight was canceled in Europe, with no other flights available I had to take the train from London, via Paris to Toulouse.
The train tickets for me and my 2 children were quite expensive and turned out to be more than the daily limit of $200 pp per day.
A little disappointed that therefore the insurance did not cover all my incurred expenses.
The representative was very helpful.

I am very glad I purchased Travel Insured Worldwide Trip Protector plan. We took a cruise to Norway and booked our excursion ourselves. Unfortunately, there was a big bus accident near the port and the road/tunnel had to be shut down for repair. Our cruise ship was re-routed elsewhere, and we were unable to use the excursion that we paid for. Travel Insured helped us recover the loss.
I am very satisfied with your service. I will definitely buy my next trip insurance with you, although I hope I won't need to submit any claim.

Unfortunately our trip to Paris had to be cancelled due to the terrorist attack. Travel Insured handled our claim in good time and to our complete satisfaction. Thanks.

We had to cancel our trip on 3 days notice because my brother was hospitalized with a severe GI bleed on June 8, 2015. When I called the Travel Insured number to inform them, the woman was very sympathetic and helpful, immediately emailing me all the claim forms. Eventually when I sent them all the claims forms Travel Insured mailed me a check for the entire amount of the trip.

A member of our traveling party had an injury that precluded us from going on our trip. After submitting the supporting documentation, our claim was paid without event or delay. Highly recommend.
