Once my completed documentation had been submitted, it took more than EIGHT WEEKS to process my claim (all that time without me being asked to submit any additional documentation). I tried to call the company about the delay, but got put on hold for a long time and finally gave up. I will say that they finally reimbursed me for the amount of my request and didn't deny any of my claim. Because of the nature of my injury, I also had a claim for a later trip with different insurer - it took that company THREE DAYS from the time of my electronic submission to notification of approval of the claim and then another four days to receive the refund, for a total of one week.

I had a fairly simple claim for medical services rendered by the Medical Center on the cruise ship. The claim process required downloading several documents which I thought the insurance company should have had, e.g. proof of payment of the premium. After downloading all the requested documents, I was informed the processing time would be 20-25 days. The actual time from submission of claim to receipt of payment was 45 days. I would give this company a grade of B to B+.
