I don't normally insure a holiday or, I should say, I self-insure. It was, however, a condition of the tour company, that I should purchase. Thus I regarded it as no more than an extra cost. Used to reading reports of holiday disasters that turn out not to be covered by the insurance purchased, I viewed the transaction with suspicion and did not wade through all the terms and conditions in large and small print.

Good service and fair price. It was necessary because medicare does not pay outside the states. Thankfully we did not have to use it.

I didn't have a claim, so the company was not really tested for what matters most. But it did provide good coverage at a reasonable price.

Our trip was canceled due to radiation danger. We have rescheduled it for July 2012. I will purchase this coverage again next year. We were able to get a full refund directly from the airlines for our entire group. The only loss was the cost of this insurance.
