My traveling companion became ill and was unable to take the trip. I tried to use a signed doctor's note from her to claim reimbursement, but Nationwide insisted that I have the doctor fill out their "special" form. I will never use Nationwide Travel Insurance again.

In the future, if you experience an issue with a claim, please call InsureMyTrip at 800-487-4722 and request a Customer Advocate. In a situation where a claim is taking an usually long time to process, our Customer Advocates will contact the insurance company on the customers behalf in attempt to expedite the claim.
