Luckily we didn’t need the coverage this trip. Two trips ago my FIL died while we were on a cruise and this insurance really saved us. Nobody accounts for the unseeable, but, when you need a net to catch you, it is 100% worth it! A must when traveling!

Peace of mind is worth every cent. Coincidentally, I was talking to a fellow passenger who got sick on a previous cruise and the ship sent him by ambulance at the next port. His health insurance didn't cover him out of the US. He found out the hard way of how expensive it was for medical bills and flights back to US. No worries when you have the right insurance! Needless to say he now carries insurance. I recommended he switch to InsureMyTrip because we had to use it once two years ago. What a life saver! Super highly recommend!!!!

Had to cancel because of health reasons. Cancelled on 10/18/18. Filed claim on 10/31/18. Received check for full payment on 11/12/18. I would say that it better than I ever expected.
