This was a decent price and covered what I needed. Could be a bit less expensive, 5% of total cost is just a bit to much.

The coverage was what I was looking for on my trip. I had peace of mind and could focus on enjoying my trip knowing that I had the financial backing of my insurance plan in case an unwanted event should occur. I recommended this plan to a friend that was going on a similar cruise as I was and they were happy with the coverage as well.

About 10 days before my cruise, my mother (not traveling with me) had a medical incident and I was told she had days to live. I immediately canceled my cruise. Had I waited until she passed, there would have been less paperwork, but I knew I wasn't going, and she did eventually pass before the cruise. I opened a claim and then submitted all of the paperwork, including doctors notes, since she was still alive at the time of the cancellation. There is a lot of paperwork to prove payment, cancellation, loss of funds, medical reports, etc. It is a bit much, and some of it is confusing, but they are helpful over the phone. In less than one week, I was notified that my claim was approved. A great company and a great response. I will be buying from them in the future.
