Worldwide Trip Protector Lite
I have traveled frequently during my 85 years and have always purchased enough travel insurance to cover my trip. For many years I never had a problem and the insurance simply bought peace of mind. Twice in the last two years I actually needed the insurance. My claims were processed promptly and fairly covering medical expense on one occasion and trip cancellation on another. I do recommend Trip Protector Lite.

I was alone in NZ (7800 miles from home), injured and in the hospital. My daughter started the process with you and you turned it over to on call international. they were fantastic. Provided me a choice of flights, business class, home and arranged for help at all airports (wheelchair). My claim was processed and finalized quickly and to my satisfaction. Will definitely use you again (although I hope I don't need to:) and recommend you to others. I've never had to use travel insurance before (i.e. file a claim) and hope I never need to but I will definitely purchase it from you for all future international trips.

We had a loss of a beach bag with various personal items inside, which was accidentally left at a bus stop in Mexico. They had me file a loss claim, and the representative I spoke with was friendly and helpful sending me the proper forms to complete and helping me understand what I needed to do.
I was able to scan the completed forms and e-mail back. Then I was given confirmation when they received it and a link to keep updated on the status of my claim. It was filed on Jan. 29, and no further action was needed on my part. I received my reimbursement on February 11. This was fast and efficient. I would use this travel insurance again and recommend it with high praise. Thank you C & F Travel Insured for making my loss bearable.

My son had a tooth abscess which required root cancel treatment. The 'dental' coverage did not cover this. The customer service representatives were extremely slow in handing my claim. I would not recommend.

Very pleased with this plan - my son fell ill the day before we were supposed to leave and we had to cancel everything - the plan reimbursed our airline ticket penalties and non-refundable hotel promptly and completely.

Worldwide Trip Protector Plus
I was happy with my experience with C&F. I had to file a claim and was reimbursed quickly and the process was fairly simple. The only item I didn’t expect was to provide supporting documents considering I purchased the ‘cancel for any reason’ plan. Any reason I list should’ve been sufficient enough, but thankfully I was able to supply the requested information.

Purchased pre-existing coverage which I choose on all trips. FYI: ALWAYS read the policy in full. I had to cancel due to anxiety & filed a claim. I received a call and found out my claim was denied. Anxiety is considered a mental problem and is not covered unless you are hospitalized. I was not hospitalized, so no coverage for my claim. Almost 9K out of pocket.

The C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector plan does not cover claims related to: a mental or nervous condition, unless hospitalized for that condition while the Policy is in effect for You. This exclusion is a standard exclusion in most, if not all travel insurance plans. We strongly recommend customers read the terms and conditions of the policy within the review period to determine if the policy fits your needs. If the policy does not fit your needs, it can be cancelled within the review period for a refund of premium. Please call us at 800-487-4722 if you have any questions or concerns.

The C+F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector plan has the following coverage for dental, which can be found in the full certificate: "Benefits will include up to USD750 for emergency dental treatment due to Injury to natural teeth." This is a standard in most, if not all travel insurance plans. In the future, please consider calling us prior to purchase to discuss the plan exclusions.
