The plan offered the coverages needed at a reasonable price. I did need to file a claim. The claim was paid fairly but the claim process was fairly slow. It took about a month to get the claim processed.

TravelSafe Classic Plus
Unfortunately had to cancel our pricey trip to Deer Valley ski resort in Utah due to my wife's slipped disk in her neck requiring surgery. Our booking was paid in full with a 45 day cancellation requirement or lose entire cost. The TravelSafe policy reimbursed us 100% after submitting a reasonable amount of paperwork, and we received the checks in a few weeks time. I haven't always purchased insurance for every trip, but I will now.

I made a claim for delays and it was paid 5 weeks from my filing. I was pleasantly surprised that there was no hassle. I mailed all the particulars to the company as the WEB didn't allow room for details and explanations.

We had to cancel our trip back in Feb. we began the process. AS of today 4/26/16 we have not received payment. I have called several times and have gotten the run around. This is not a reliable company to deal with in my opinion and will not recommend it in the future.

TravelSafe Classic Plus
Our trip to Paris was planned for the week of Thanksgiving 2015. The Friday before we were going to fly there, the terrorist attack that killed at least 130 people happened. It was a difficult decision, but we decided not to go given the shocking nature of the attack and the still fluid situation. I called the insurance provider and they were very helpful, telling me the steps I needed to take to correctly cancel the trip. We had a cancel for any reason policy but it turned out that the policy also covered terrorism. We received a full refund of our airline tickets within 10 days of filing the claim. I have purchased insurance for most major trips and this was the first time I had to file a claim.

Because my husband was diagnosed with Mesothelioma I had to cancel this trip .I tried to get my premium back from you. You made the decision not to refund because I did not meet the 14 day cancellation window. I have another trip that I cancelled and the same problem will come up except that premium was much larger. Not sure how I can say good things about your company at this point.

I claimed fly delay (it was 9 hours delay), but I never heard back from them. I try to send few emails, but it is no answer. On Web side it says that clime closed without any explanation. Now I will be claim to return my money that I paid for this insurance.

We had to submit a claim a few days prior to our scheduled departure date due to the death of a parent. TravelSafe had great claim information online, very nice, helpful people on the phone when we had some follow up questions. After sending in, understandably, a lot of paper work, our claim was paid in full with no additional questions asked.
