When I called their customer service to explain our situation; I immediately received an email with all the needed forms, including detailed instructions explaining the information required as well as options on how to send the completed forms to C&F Travel.

I bought this plan because of the coverage and price. Hence the 5 stars. Was it a good purchase? I think that question can only be answered once a claim has been filed. Fortunately, I did not need to file a claim.

Early in August, I filed a claim for slightly less than $200 and submitted all necessary supporting materials. To date (Oct 3), I've received no information on the claim from GeoBlue. When I looked up the claim via the internet, the claim file indicated that the amount claimed was subject to a deductible, hence no payment. I was unaware of a deductible, but that's on me. What I don't like is the utter lack of communication.

United lost my bag for 2 weeks. As I had to fly again for business during these 2 weeks, I had to purchase a new suitcase. When I called to staqrt a claim, I was informed that delayed baggage claims are only for outbound flights, not on return flights. I found that to be a disappointment and rather unrealistic with the flying community these days.

The online portal is easy to use, I reached a person quickly when I called with a clarification question, and my reimbursement check was delivered in a couple weeks -- the full amount requested, no hassle.

Fortunately I didn’t have to submit a claim this trip but a couple of years ago I did and Travelex covered the entire cost of my six day hospital stay in Uppsala, Sweden. I’ve already purchased another Travelex Select plan for another upcoming trip to Sweden this summer.
