The coverage options are simple if you have a simple travel plan ( air and tour or one hotel). It is quite confusing if you have flexible plans , going to several places that you build ( and possibly change) over time vs one major outlay.

I felt good because I was protected. I am an older person so I had to pay a higher premium. I wish I did not have to do that. The policy does cover what I needed to have covered but I did not have to use it.

Because of numerous delays by Amtrak we were delayed over 10 hours reaching our interim destination after 1:00 am Sunday morning.We were supposed to continue onto our destination by Metra public transportation but no trains run at that time of day.We called Travelex earlier in the evening and was told by the representative that since this was not a medical emergency and did not involve a distance in excess of 100 miles to call back during regular business hours,Monday through Friday.Downtown Chicago for two seniors in there 70's toting two suitcases each is not safe and a 47 mile taxi or Lyft at that time or any time is not cheap..... We feel this is one more case of insurance thats great until you try to use it .....enough said.

Travelex prides ourselves on our exemplary customer service and providing the benefits available to you on the policy purchased. We would like the opportunity to review the phone call made which references to call back later during business hours. Our Travel Assistance Company does assist in situations where there is a delay in transportation. This can be anything from helping to find new transportation to assisting with locating hotels to stay in.
However, we are unable to locate a call to our Customer Solutions Department, or our Claim Administrator from the phone number listed on your policy. We found one call to our travel assistance provider, OnCall International, however it was a bad connection and the call disconnected before the conversation was competed. We have been unable to locate any further calls.
Based on additional communication with you and InsureMyTrip’s review team, we will consider your inquiry closed. We empathize with the unfortunate situation you experienced with the train and the lack of cell phone service.
Our goal is to provide our travelers with the high level of service that they expect. Thank you for your business.

Good coverage for a reasonable price. Trip went smoothly so I did not use the insurance services. Can't comment on the service. I guess that's a good thing!

Fortunately, I didn't have to file a claim. I did contact them with questions and I had to change a beneficiary after the fact. They were very responsive and handled everything quickly.
Tip: if you have to make any changes, contact InsureMytrip directly...not the carrier. InsureMytrip will handle everything.
They communicate with you very well.
I will use them next time I need travel insurance.
