I usually purchase trip insurance but have rarely used it other for baggage delay. Very glad I purchased it this time. Unfortunately, my trip needed to be cancelled due to a hurricane that devastated my region. The claim process was surprisingly smooth, and I am thoroughly impressed with how the insurance handled everything. The customer service team was quick to respond to my questions.
First of all, the claims submission process was straightforward. I filled out the necessary forms and sent in all of my receipts (thankfully kept in email). I received regular updates on the status of my claim. It was delayed a bit and I needed one additional document from the airline, but I received a notice that my reimbursement check would be sent to me five weeks after I initially filed the claim. It was a relief to get the financial support I needed after the inconvenience. I will definitely consider using this company for future trips!

We filed a relatively small claim with the insurance. The online process was straightforward. Approximately 30 days later, I received notice that it was approved and a check was mailed out immediately. We had originally purchased the insurance to help with any serious issues when traveling internationally. Fortunately our issue was an inconvenience that the policy also covered and not something serious. The airline should have actually covered our expenses, but I'm grateful for this insurance. Will definitely recommend.

I love InsureMyTrip and have used them many times over the past 10 years. This is only the third time I have had to file a claim. Both other times were with different insurers and while any claims process is arduous I was satisfied with the results. This C&F Travel Insured claims process is horrible, the worst I have ever experienced. I have a straight forward claim for a trip delay where my flight was canceled and as a result I missed a leg of my trip and had out of pocket expenses and a nonrefundable hotel stay that the policy covers. The claim was submitted in August. 3 months later and I am still getting multiple emails alternately apologizing for the delay or saying I haven’t submitted documentation that I have submitted multiple times. Yesterday I received an email saying thank you for submitting the documentation only to be followed by an email saying I didn’t submit the documentation. Who knows whether I will ever be able to collect anything but I can say that I will never, ever buy a policy from this company again. Avoid at all costs.

I had an accident and was unable to travel. Travel Insured International representatives were courteous, helpful, and expedient with my claim. From the time all documentation was received, until the company issued a direct deposit from my claim, the process was very, very professional and speedy. I am planning to travel again in the spring and will definitely insure my trip with Travel Insured International.

We had to file a medical claim which was a smooth process. When I called their customer service to explain our situation; I immediately received an email with all the needed forms, including detailed instructions explaining the information required as well as options on how to send the completed forms to C&F Travel.
Our reimbursement was completed in a very reasonable amount of time.

We had to cancel one leg of a long trip at the last minute because of extreme 50-year flooding in a region of Thailand. We were able to get partial refunds from the airline and hotel. We submitted the non-refundable costs as travel interruption costs under the C&F Travel Insured plan.
We were able to reach the Emergency Assistance line from Thailand without any problems, When we had claim processing questions we were able to reach C&F agents on the phone quickly. Only negative on the claim process is the difficulty in uploading documents - the claim website simply doesn't work well. They offered to take documents by e-mail - recommend that you use that option if you have any problems with uploading.
We recompiled documents and submitted them via e-mail. This was a relatively simple claim so there weren't any issues. The claim was processed and approved in 4 days (including weekend).
I was impressed with the accessibility of the agents and speed of their response once we were able to get documents to them.
