We insured our London, Paris & Rome trip through CSA Travel Protection. There were three of us total. In Paris my mother fell and broke her arm which required surgery. This ended our trip before the Rome portion. After being hospitalized for four days she was released and the CSA Travel team assisted us in getting us all home. Once home, they were very fair in reimbursing us for the portion of our trip that was interrupted, and for the additional nights lodging, meals etc. Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for travel insurance.

I've purchased this plan several times. Whenever I've needed to file a claim, it was simple and paid quickly. This trip, my luggage didn't arrive in Rome and the airline was nearly impossible for me to contact in Rome since I didn't speak Italian. I finally called the travel assistance phone number in the US (my phone has international coverage). The insurance representative took my lost luggage information and took over the tracking. Sent me status emails and called me with the arrival information. I was able to stop by the airport to personally retrieve my suitcase before heading to the pier. I emailed the representative and he notified the airline that I had the suitcase. Without the travel assistance company, I wouldn't have been able to get the suitcase myself and would have had to rely on the airline to get my luggage to me in Santorini. Bottom line, I never travel without trip insurance and three times, I've been glad I had this policy.

Although I do purchase trip insurance before taking a long journey, I never expected to have to file a claim. Unfortunately, this past spring my first flight never left the ground and I missed my connecting flight to Rome. I filed a claim under this CSA Plan and the process was prompt and well organized, and my refund was actually more than I expected! Very happy with both the cost of the plan and the how well it worked when needed. I will definitely use this plan again for future trips.

Thank you CSA! My husband and I have always purchased travel insurance. Usually if you have it you don't need it. Murphy visits people who are not prepared. He choose CSA Travel insurance from the InsureMyTrip.com because they had good reviews and comprehensive coverage at a good rate. We have been fortunate to have traveled for 10+ years and not had any need to make a claim on our travel insurance. This trip was a 12 night cruise around the Adriatic Sea from Venice to Rome which required both typical vacation clothing and formal wear. The airlines lost my luggage and I had no idea when or IF I would get it back. Once we left out first port I called CSA. They were pleasant and helpful. They sent an email immediately with directions on how to file a claim. I finally received my luggage 8 days later. However, by that time I had purchased quite a few things. I was swamped with work when we returned from our trip and I did not get the claim filled out and sent in with my receipts for a month after we returned. I was expecting a fight at some level, either because of my delay or to justifying every item I bought or at the very least the price of each item. I emailed the forms and receipts and received an email back about a week later saying my check was on the way. I soon received the check and it covered everything. NO HASSLE! NO FIGHT! GREAT SERVICE! We will be purchasing our travel insurance going forward from CSA. They have earned our business and will therefore probably get back what they paid out on my claim. Good for them!

I chose CSA because it was reasonably priced and offered the features I wanted. We never expected to have to use it. However I got sick on vacation and was hospitalized in Europe. CSA came through and paid all our claims. I would definitely buy CSA again. Thanks

I had a medical emergency in Turkey and the CSA people were terrific in making arrangements to get me (and my husband as my non-medical companion)home. They thought of everything involving the travel. I have already told everyone I know to buy CSA protection plans when they travel. The claims process was ultimately well done, although it took a bit longer than as "advertised". It was fair and well explained. However, the most important part, having immediate assistance when you are abroad with a medical emergency was handled superlatively!

Lost my camera in Italy and didn't have time to file a police report before leaving for the airport to depart Italy. The Hotel provided a statement to CSA confirming our loss and the rest was taken care of by CSA...truely appreciated!!!

During our trip a suitcase was stolen. We filed a claim for our loss. CSA took a month to settle this claim. They required an itemized list of the contents of the suitcase, including the price of each item and the date each item was purchased. CSA depreciated each item 10% per year. That is reasonable. But they also reduced the claim by 25% because we did not have purchase receipts for each item. Does anyone keep receipts for clothing they buy? Expecting receipts is not reasonable.
