My claim was for medical trip cancellation and was essentially ignored for a number of weeks, even after repeated calls. They used a technicality to avoid reimbursement for airfare. They eventually reimbursed for the expenses of 2 hotel nights and the trip deposit and an airline administrative fee, but it took on the order of two to three months. There claims process is by paper form.

I was very pleased with the response on my claim. Because I had kept all of my receipts to support my claim, the process went very smoothly. I will use Insure My Trip next time I travel.

We had to cancel because of medical and all forms were emailed promptly. Had a physician complete and sign and our claim was processed and a check was sent. We have purchased Nationwide many times but was the first time we used it. Leaving on a trip in 2 weeks and purchased Nationwide again.

Due to medical issues our trip had to be cancelled. Filing a claim was easy and phone representatives were helpful. They claim that it takes 15 business days which was fairly accurate as I had my check in hand in 20 business days.

We were unable to go in the trip because I was diagnosed with breast cancer; I needed surgery and started treatments shortly thereafter. Nationwide processed our claim very promptly and refunded the cost of our trip. We truly appreciate their service concerning this claim.
