I have bought travel insurance for years and never needed to make a claim until this time. IMG responded instantly and to my surprise they paid a claim for a cruise ship dr visit to get meds for a sinus inflection. Very pleased with the way IMG handled the claim.

Very fast and professional service.

While my claim was eventually honored by Itravelinsured, I had to constantly call their Customer Service department to find out why no action was being taken. The company twice denied getting documents I had submitted, even though I had codes indicating they had received them. The process dragged out for months. Finally they asked for a document that didn't exist and had no relevance to the claim, and failed to respond to my efforts to submit the information requested by sending two documents which together supplied the information they asked for. If I had not requested help from InsureMyTrip, I may never have gotten paid, but my representative at InsureMyTrip promptly expedited my claim and I finally got paid. But what a hassle!

My wife and I caught COVID just before our flight. I sent the test results and our trip costs. They were prompt and fair. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again after my experience.

Had a cruise leaving from Lisbon in September 2024. The cruise line needed to change the departure to Malaga, Spain several weeks before the cruise due to a strike. I filed a claim for the increased cost to change my flight (itinerary change) at the last minute, but the change was "before the start date of the insurance", so it was not covered. It is a loophole in the insurance coverage for itinerary change, as it would not cover travel cost change regardless of the start date - it was only for costs associated with activities (tours).

Well worth the cost. We are totally satisfied with this trip insurance. Weather related event and declared disaster made it impossible to travel on our scheduled day. Claim was processed easily online and reimbursement was speedy.

I bought the IMG iTravelInsured SE plan for this trip because a couple of our cruise ports were in foreign countries, and I'd recently seen a friend get injured in one. We're in our 60's and thought insurance was a good idea, particularly for emergency medical transport overseas, which I heard was expensive. The cruise was a big celebration for my sister-in-law's retirement; we were really looking forward to it.
To my surprise my husband's back started bothering him a few months before the cruise. He worked with PT, a chiropractor & his Dr to no avail. Three weeks out he collapsed in pain and was scheduled for urgent surgery, we weren't going anywhere.
I contacted IMG and they immediately emailed a claim form. A real human being was available for my questions. It took about 4 weeks for them to review and process our claim. No fuss or drama. This was a big relief, as we were already miserable about missing the cruise and letting down family.
Bottom line, I highly recommend IMG's travel insurance and will use them again.
