This was our first time purchasing this type of separate trip coverage, but because we knew we would not only be in high altitude conditions, but in more rural areas where medical care is limited (and we might need to be flown out for care), we decided the peace of mind was worth it. Fortunately, we didn't need any of the coverage, and the trip went off without a hitch. We have purchased the same plan for our next trip in the Spring, once again because of the peace of mind it brings when traveling in areas where medical coverage may be somewhat limited.

Although we did not have a claim, we traveled with the peace of mind that it was there in case we needed it at a reasonable price.

This was the first trip for which we purchased travel insurance even though we are frequent travelers. The travel company we used was unusually persistent in their recommendation for insurance (they don't provide it) because of the remoteness of the destination. The coverage was what we wanted, but I was shocked at how expensive it was.

Didn't use it, but that's good. Allowed me to cover what I wanted, without a lot of extras I didn't want.

You can only really assess an insurance policy when a claim occurs. Absent a claim, there are no issues because nothing happens.

After searching and comparing, I found that this was the most complete coverage that I could get for the price. Since I did not have to make a claim, I cannot say how it would have worked out if I did have to actually use the coverage.

I have used you for many trips. My only request is that the definitions provided by the insurance companies were made more clear. For example, the missed connection and trip delay are always confusing with words like all fights canceled - is that for all locations or only destination etc

Of course, the truest means by which to evaluate an insurance product to have a claim processed, which I did not need to do. Nonetheless, my research found this company and product to be the most fairly prices and their telephone agents were knowledgeable and helpful.

Fortunately I did not have to make a claim but the peace of mind knowing I was covered was a blessing. I often travel to remote parts of the world where the risk of something going wrong is high. I found this policy covered the things that were important to me at a reasonable cost. Thank you.
