Travel Insurance Reviews for TravelSafe

After shopping for plans, this plan was the best cover and value for money I could find. I will use this plan again.

I did not have to use the plan so I cannot rate how the claim process is; however, the peace of mind having trip insurance for a 13 night transatlantic cruise followed by an extended stay in Europe was worth the cost. Comparing this plan to others, it provided great coverage for a reasonable price.

I have been shopping for trip insurance through "InsureMyTrip" for several years and really like to be able to compare plans and see the coverage for areas that I am specifically concerned about. I used to use TravelGuard almost exclusively but not, with this tool, TravelSafe, is the usual winner. I have not yet had to file a claim with them, but have 3 friends who have. One of them has had problems processing their claim (requirements for information from fellow travelers on a tour who where not available, for instance) while two have had satisfactory results.

Gave me great peace of mind. l also opted for the additional $100,000 common carrier accidental death coverage for an extra $10.

My contact with the TravelSafe (InsureMyTrip) representative before our trip was excellent - the person helped me to choose the appropriate coverage for our needs. I felt secure knowing that we had purchased a TravelSafe plan; however, we had a wonderful trip and did not need to use it - yippee! I don't think I can adequately assess TravelSafe's claim record since we haven't used it, but I hope it's wonderful if we do need it for our next trip!
