My brother passed away unexpectedly 8 days before our departure. We submitted everything online. I thought I would get a lot of prying questions, but did not. The insurance payment from Travelex was received 10 days or so after we submitted the death certificate. I was very satisfied.

We received the full refund to which we were entitled, but it took five months to get it! The cruise was for October, we canceled in August and sent in claims, had to resend information again, and didn’t get our funds transferred into our account until January. Had to call several times to see what the delays were.

My son got sick on trip and was treated by medical staff aboard the ship. When we returned I contacted travelex and submitted my receipts from medical and the claim was handled expeditiously. I am very pleased with the insurance and have since taken out another policy for my next trip.
