Since I did not have to file a claim, which I am grateful for, my review is in regards to coverage provided and price. I rated the coverage 5 stars since it had all of the coverages I was interested in, especially medical coverage. This policy offered the best option to purchase after paying the initial deposit on my trip in regard to preexisting conditions. Their window was longer than other policies. I rated the coverage 4 stars for price because there were less expensive options but their preexisting medical condition window was shorter. When I went to purchase this coverage I had already passed the date on the less expensive coverage. If you purchase travel insurance and medical is important to you, be sure to purchase as soon as possible after you pay your initial deposit for your trip. The preexisting condition window is very short on these policies.

I purchased this plan as it provided all my needs and fit my budget for this particular trip.
I did not have to file a claim and that is always a blessing.

I've been getting my travel insurance from this website for a while but fortunately never used it. For the first time I used the insurance and I had absolutely no problems at all, worked like a charm. Will keep purchasing my insurances here!

Thankfully we did not need to use any of the services. But, it is important to know that we had the necessary health support.

I'm still not clear as how would the insurance company treat the "pre-existing conditions"

It was barely adequate coverage for the U.S. if I had needed emergency medical assistance where I could then return to my home country the amount would have been sufficient but not enough if I had to stay in the U.S. For any medical reason. I took the policy with the idea that if I had an accident or medical condition requiring emergency services, it would cover expenses until I could be transported back to Canada or a country that my private medical insurance would cover. I found the policy while reasonable in cost was insignificant in what it covered and for the amounts for any given situation.

I felt protected all the time, thankfully I have not used.

Hard to rate until you have a claim and see how it works when you really need it.
