When my Mother had a stroke and soon went into Hospice and was brought home to my house, i contacted the travel insurance company to request a refund well before my trip was to start. My mother's doctor provided a letter stating I was her primary care giver. They denied my refund request. I think this is horrible, inhumane and egregious.

The plan was pretty good for what we needed. We didn't actually need to use it so I can't speak to how any claim would have been handled.

I just returned from a 4 week vacation in Europe. Everything went well on the trip and I am very thankful that I did not need the medical insurance. I was very happy that I purchased such a comprehensive policy for a good price.
The air quality in Denmark was so much better than at home and I actually had no symptoms of coughing or sinus problems.

It's very hard to tell if it was a really a good plan or not. I did not have to file a claim, filing a claim would have been the real test.

One can never know how good the insurer is until you have to file a claim. Fortunately, I did not file a claim, so I was completely satisfied.

We have use InsureMyTrip for over 13 years now (an average of one trip per year) and have always been satisfied. On two occasions, we have had to submit claims due to illness and canceling a trip and the representatives at the website have been more than helpful with submitting the claim to the insurance provider. At no time did we think the claim would be denied. We especially like the feature of comparing plans on the website. Keep up the good work!
