Trip was cancelled by the cruise operator. I was refunded everything but $300 of the airfare (ticket cost less credit for a future flight). AXA took care of the $300 quickly and with no hassle.

Since I never had to use it, I wouldn't know how good it actually is. Its hard to give 5 stars when you don't get to use it. But I'm glad I didn't have to use it as well. :)

I always buy trip coverage when I'm abroad, and fortunately so far have never had to use it. I trust that the benefits will be there for me if I do need them. I make the assumption that InsureMyTrip will only include providers who fulfill the terms of the plan when a claim is made, and I make that assumption based on InsureMyTrip strong customer service orientation. I hope I never have to make a claim for illness or injury while traveling abroad, but if I do, the product will likely have come from here.
