My husband had emergency surgery just weeks before our trip was to start. Our doctor said he would be unable to go on the trip. The tour company gave us less than half of the money back and Travel Insured refunded the rest of the money. We had our claim settled in 18 days! We were very pleased with how Travel Insured took care of our claim. We would definitely use them again.

On the 10th day(AM) of 12 day cruise, on a shuttle, I had what seemed to be a TIA and was taken to a clinic, then helicoptered to an Athens hospital. It was determined I had asymptomatic pneumonia, both lobes, and anoxia due to that---blood pressures were up and I was retaining fluid.I was well taken care of in Athens, then flown home with a nurse companion. Travel Insured and On Call International took care of the details and kept in contact with me and my family. Everyone was so nice!

The only real way to judge an insurance plan is if you have to use it, and who wants to do that? Due to an airline strike my niece and I missed 2 days of our dream trip to Italy. I filed a claim, which did, understandably, require a fair amount of paperwork. I was very pleased with the fast and positive response, and would not hesitate to buy this insurance again.
