I would never do a trip without travel insurance, and thankfully I didn't have to use it. I look at it as part of the cost of the trip. I have used Insure My Trip before and did have to summit a small claim that was handled quickly and without any complications.

I didn't have the need to file a claim...that's the only time you can truly say if buying insurance was worth the money. I wish these survey's would only be sent to those filing claims, then we can really get an idea of the product we are purchasing is worth the money.
