You might want this plan if you want a first-class level of coverage, such as a higher medical limit. Having many optional choices was great. It is a flexible plan, true to its name, but beware. All that will come at a price! As a percentage of the trip's value, you may spend a few extra percentage points. I had no claim, but I was satisfied with the testimonials from those who did make claims.

Took forever to get the claim processed, but it did turn out favorably, so I'm happy now. Not so much a few months ago, when there was zero progress on the claim for a good 6 months.

Travel insurance is a must! Even before the pandemic, travel insurance provided peace of mind with trip planning. I've always used insuremytrip.com for finding the best fit, either researching the plans myself, or getting assistance from the many live representatives. I recently needed help on a canceled trip (2020) and received professional, courteous, and prompt assistance from actual people, not robo-chats. Thank you to Jeannie, Melinda, Sally, and all the other dedicated staff!

We purchased the C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Lite Plan from InsureMyTrip for our recent trip to Iceland. We did some comparison shopping and found this offered the coverage we needed for a very reasonable price. While, fortunately, we did not have to file a claim, the peace of mind we had knowing that trip and medical costs were covered were worth the price.

Due to weather we almost missed our connection by 40 minutes. We had booked approximately 10 hours between flights. We definitely did not want to miss our flight; however, I knew we would be covered. Small price to pay for possibility of losing both vacation AND cost of vacation.

We could not figure out how to make the collect call that was to be used to notify this insurer of our issue. No one in the country we were in, (Iceland) knew how to make a collect call. We tried to email the insurer and they gave us another number. It was so difficult we gave up. While our issue could be dealt with when we got home, if we had had a true emergency we would have been left hanging with no help. An insurance policy where you can't contact the insurance company is no good to anyone. At the least, the insurer should provide instructions for making a collect call in the country you are going to.
