Difficult to say that I was completely satisfied with the insurance policy because I did not have to file a claim. The real test for any insurance companies is how helpful and supportive they are during the claim process.

Our daughter had a fire at her business (that had belonged to us) the day before we were to leave. As this was a cathestrophic event we could not leave her to deal with this alone. Generali did nothing for the almost $800 policy on and $11k trip.

Since we did not file a claim, cannot comment on that aspect but we were happy with the stated coverage. Appreciated the email updates with phone number contact before our trip.

This was the best insurance purchase...one we never used. And that's the best kind to have. It gave us peace of mind knowing it was there should we need it.

Obtaining the coverage was easy. Pricing was somewhat better than that offered through the cruise line. Difficult to give a fuller analysis until the day comes (which I hope it doesnt) that we need to make a claim.
