We are in our mid-70s and we know that the odds that one of us might need medical attention while overseas are increasing. So, we need to have good insurance when we travel. Two of my children are actuaries, and we know that real insurance with a good track record will not be cheap; in fact, cheap insurance is probably worse than no insurance. We purchased an Atlas Journey Premier plan in early September for a tour of Israel in November, 2023. Our tour was cancelled following the October 7 violence. Our claims were paid in full two weeks after we filed them. We would use WorldTrips again.

They have zero customer service.
Their website is awful and doesn't work.
It's even almost impossible just to register on their website and to even login.
Then the claim process is hell, and when they finally come to a conclusion for a claim, they literally don't even inform you. No message, no email, no phone call. Nothing.
Absolutely the worst of the worst.

Good plan, worked well for me. Only wish is that the company communicated with me about my claim. For example, my claim was approved and a cheque was sent to me in the mail but no email or notification was sent to me. I only found out by calling and asking for an update.
