I way I read the policy, it does not cover you until you leave the US. So I assume that if you have a flight to New York, for example, on your way to connecting for an overseas flight and have problems or a delay then you are not covered.

    Thank you for your feedback. You are correct in assuming that this policy does not cover for Travel Delays. The policy that you selected primarily covers you for Medical and Medical Evacuation benefits. If you need coverage for Travel Delays, you would need to purchase a Comprehensive policy.

It is worrisome to leave the USA/Medicare benefits when traveling. This policy gave us coverage and peace of mind while in Canada.
