I purchased insurance to cover a University trip to the Galapagos. I ended up having to cancel my trip 1 day before departure because I tested positive for COVID. I paid the school for the trip so they handled all the payments to the airlines/hotels/etc. I thought this might be an issue in making a claim, but I submitted documentation from the school and also any receipts I had. I called Trawick customer service several times to ask questions and they were always very helpful. The claim did take about 3 months to process due to a backlog of claims but every time I called they assured me they were working on it. They ended up approving the claim with no further questions or documentation required and I was mailed a check. I would recommend this insurance, but you have to have patience if you make a claim.
